Multiple values have two influences :
-
on the way information is entered while editing publications (multiple choice drop down menus in the graphical user interface),
-
on the way bibliographic indexes are built : if a publication has several values specified in a multiple field, and if that field is used to sort/group the bibliographic index, the publication will appear several times in the index : once per
value that was extracted from the multiple field.
