This function creates a new empty document, with predefined configuration options (page options, structure and style) and contents, in the current language of WIT.

The options are inherited from another WIT document, which is used as a template. Choose between :

• Default structure and style (void document, with no page contents)
• WIT default document (a default WIT sample document with predefined page header, footer, left pane and styles)
• Using another WIT document of your choice as a template
• Reuse the last template you previously used.

Depending on your choice, you are then asked :

• whether to keep document default contents or not (if you keep the contents, you may change it later) .
• if you did not keep default contents, to choose a title for your document (it will ne used as root idea name, and shown on the page headers (which you may change later).
• to save the new document. A good practice is to save it in a dedicated and clean folder, for instance under the WIT projects folder.
